Chiller compressor housing
RHOSS chiller compressor units noise reduction by partial covering. Whit the covering we blocked the noise of the compressors as to protect facilities from it. For the covering we applied sound absorbing panels inside.
Air conditioner noise reduction
The noise of the air conditioner’s disturbed the theatre plays held in the gym, on the ’Ördögkatlan’ festival. The noise get in to the premises from the equipment via the air vents. To reduce the noise level we applied muffler units to the vents.
Cooling units vibration damping
The units in the basement were fixed onto the wall without vibration damping. The vibrations generated by the cooling units disturbed the apartments on the first floor. To solve the problem, the units were given a specific sized and designed vibration damping supporting structure.
Double shell housing system
To reduce the noise in the control room, it had to modify into a double shell housing system. The control room joined only with springs to the building, any other connections were terminated. The wall of the room was built from a multi-layer sandwich system.
Compressor room noise reduction
Against the noises, escape from the fan of the compressor room, we installed a noise reducing outbuilding next to it.
Acoustic casing of cooler units
The disturbing noise of the outdoor cooler units in case of apartments has been reduced. In order to reduce the disturbing sound, we added an acoustic casing around open space under the cooler unit. After applying the casing, less noise is released into the environment from the compressors.
Sound absorbing box
In the electronical devices controller we have created a sound absorbing box from MDF battenboard in order to reduce the noises of the indoor unit. To ventilate the equipment, the cooling air flow has been directed into the sound absorbing box by a labyrinth system combined with a silencer.
In order to ensure the efficient sound absorbing property, the inner side of the box has been cased with 15 and 25 mm thick Protecto 20 sound absorbing foam.
To create the silencer unit 20 mm thick Protecto 50 foam was needed.
Noise reduction of ventilation units
Reducing noises with a silencer unit in case of boiler room ventilation outlets. To create the silencer unit, HV30slf sound absorbing foam was used.
Noise absorbing of pump
The pump in the boiler room was not attached properly creating noise. In case the HW 30 SFL sound absorbing material was used.
Environmental noise measurement
Measurement of environmental noise during building and construction activities.
Industrial silencer drum
A ventilator of a transformer house had more noise emission than permitted. In order to reduce the noise of the ventilator, the ventilator equipment was placed inside of the house. The silencer drum was put between the ventilator and the blower, as can be seen in the picture. During the construction of the silencer drum Hanno Protecto 20 was used.
